Monkeys With the Sword

Railway police is under armed, under trained, understaffed and hence incompetent to deal with most of the threats. But the fact that they are stupid makes them a threat to the very people they have vowed to protect. Two instances

1) Randomly stopping passengers on railway stations. That too, not from random points but from a desk lying in front of entrance door. This is done to note down in a register a person's name, address and phone number. A terrorist is suppose to tell them that he is from Pakistan?

2) Major stations has metal detectors. No scanners but lets not go there. Problem here and that too a big problem is that stations next to these major stations has no detectors and no security. How can somebody not board a train from a station before and try something dubious?

If a drill is conducted today to find out holes in the railway system defenses, it will bring down the whole wall. This despite of it being targeted again and again and again.
