Anyway, it's not a good idea to change directly the default files like 'config_defaults_inc.php' or 'constant_inc.php'. You should rather create another custom file, like 'config_inc.php' or 'custom_constant..' to write your configuration.

So, when you have to update Mantis, you only have to copy all files, without having to merge new files with customized files.

Hi, thank you for putting up this topic. It was really helpful to me.
I added a custom field "Customer Clarification" in the "Status" option just as you have explained in the tutorial, but now when i try to assign this status i get this error message
"Application Warning #300: String customer_clarification_bug_title" not found.
Your help on this would be greatly appreciated.
